I have a 3rd party app, when it tries to send an email through outlook, Outlook pops up the programmatic security alert, which is sometimes is quite irritating. I been trying to set the option as the never warn me about the suspicious activity from the Group Policy using Administrative templates couple of days back. However I noted that in Office 2010 ADM template that option is no longer available. Is there any workaround over this for Office 2010? Can I at least add it to a trusted zone that I no longer get security alerts from?
Hi,
Please try the following steps to check the result:
File tab -> Options -> Trust Center -> Trust Center Settings -> Macro Settings -> Choose Enable all macros(not recommended; potentially dangerous code can run), and check off Apply macro security settings to installed add-ins.
If this doesn't help, please provide a screenshot of the security alert to detail the issue. You may upload the screenshot to SkyDrive and post the share link in this forum: https://skydrive.live.com/

Hi Melon Chen,
Thanks for the reply. But am afraid am more looking into finding a solution from the Group Policy. There are bunch of guys here who uses the same application in our company. I do have admin access to the production and it would be really great if i can do something from the group policy. Since Office 2010 ADM doesn't come with the Never warn me about the suspicious activity option, i was looking for a workaround on this issue that am having.
